CFS2/Grumman TBM-1 Avenger MK-II JZ-456 RAF Fleet Air Arm 854 NAS - June, 1944. This paint was copied from an actual photograph taken just days after the D-Day invasion, over southern England. This aircraft was from the 854 NAS, operating out of Hawkinge on anti-submarine patrols under the Command of No 157GR Wing- RAF Coastal Command. Note fuselage Code Letters - 4P.
