SpeechBuddy 2 version 2.1.1 ZipDive!  Download

File Description:
SpeechBuddy2 is a Speech Recognition Interface System. It works with any Windows applications and provides native support for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 and X-Plane 6.

SpeechBuddy does not only support sending keystrokes to applications, but comes with a powerful object orientated and procedural language scripting engine, called DWS. This engine allows you to "talk" directly to FS2002 using FSUIPC. For example, when using the keyboard only to send keystrokes to FS2002, "gear down" can also cause the gear to be raised. Using FSUIPC instead, SpeechBuddy can check the current gear status and act as per voice instruction.

SpeechBuddy can also act on its own - for example, using voice recognition and text-to-speech synthesis, SpeechBuddy can act as your co-pilot and read checklists for you. (Various checklists for FS2002 aorcraft are included, based on actual checklists like the 747-400 checklist based on the BA 747-400 Flying Manual)

This version of SpeechBuddy contains:

  • support for FS2002
  • support for Fly2!
  • support for X-Plane 6.4
  • support for SWAT III : CBQ
  • support for BOA Tower
  • a generic template for defining your own interfaces
SpeechBuddy is available under the Open Software License. This means that the full source code kit for SpeechBuddy is available to all developers. The source code kit and SpeechBuddy upgrades are available at http://www.x-plane.info/billy/speechbuddy.html
